The entryway decor in your home might be something that gets forgotten about. Chances are, you don’t even use the front door often – so why should you worry about what that space looks like? But, creating a defined entryway that has its own style and personality will completely transform the way your home feels. Trust me – our entryway went from the most boring plain white door to a vibrant entry that reenergized our entire home with the help of a fun pop of color. If you’re hoping to do the same to your home, here are some entryway decor ideas you can use:
Focus on the Front Door
The front door should be the star of this show. Choosing a color or style of door that makes a statement will set the tone for your entire home! If you have room in the budget, you could install a dramatic, highly stylized door. But, if you’re looking to refresh your entryway decor with the items you already have, you could paint the front a door a fun color that brings out the vibes you are hoping to achieve.

Entry Table
An entryway needs a cute entry table where you can drop your keys, display family photos and to place houseplants on. This is a great opportunity to find an antique piece on Facebook Marketplace or your local antique mall.

Dress Up The Wall In Your Entryway
Adding something to the space above the entry table – art, decorative baskets, a mirror – will add color and character to your entryway. I love including a mirror since it makes the space look brighter and also allows for one last hair check before I head out the door.

Finish Off The Entryway Decor With a Doormat
The finishing touch to your entryway is the rug. You could go bold to make the rug the statement piece, or you could opt for something more neutral to tie everything together. Either way, the entryway rug will make the space look complete.
A Whole New Space
Here’s my entryway refresh! The before was a sad, boring space that did not feel welcoming at all. Adding a coat of Behr Tropical Sea paint completely changed the vibe of my entire home! I decorated using a couple of little treasures I picked up at an estate sale, a family photo, and of course a candle and a succulent. I think I might switch out some the entryway table decor seasonally, but we shall see!
